Maritime Silk Road relics on display in Haiko

The Hainan Province Museum, located in the province’s capital city of Haikou, is currently displaying relics of the Maritime Silk Road.

250 pieces of cultural relics collected from Hainan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong provinces and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are on display, including porcelain, silk, ceramics, as well as gold and silver items.

The Hainan Province Museum regularly hosts unique travelling exhibits in addition to the permanent displays covering Hainan culture, history, and art. Best of all? Admission is free! Don’t forget to bring your photo ID, which is required for admission.
